a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a new three-year Mental Health Services Agreement with CF Merced Behavioral, LLC dba Merced Behavioral Center for the provision of mental health services to gravely disabled Monterey County adult residents with severe psychiatric disabilities in a secure Skilled Nursing Facility as an Institution for Mental Disease (IMD), for a maximum County obligation of $4,642,654 for the term of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2020; and
b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not exceed ten percent (10%) ($464,265) of the original Agreement amount and do not significantly alter the scope of services.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a new three-year Mental Health Services Agreement with CF Merced Behavioral, LLC dba Merced Behavioral Center for the provision of mental health services to gravely disabled Monterey County adult residents with severe psychiatric disabilities in a secure Skilled Nursing Facility as an Institution for Mental Disease (IMD), for a maximum County obligation of $4,642,654 for the term of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2020; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The County currently maintains Agreement A-12724 with CF Merced Behavioral, LLC dba Merced Behavioral Center which will expire on June 30, 2017.
