SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
California Department of Aging issued $804,975 in emergency funding to Monterey County Department of Social Services Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Title III/VII-B programs for the term of April 1, 2020 through September 30, 2022. Some of the uses of this funding is for ombudsman services, senior meals, Legal advocacy, outreach, caregivers, information assistance & referral, and technology for seniors.
