Title: a. RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director or Assistant Director of the Department of Social Services to sign an agreement with the Housing Resource Center of Monterey County for $806,961 to provide housing supports to families who are receiving child welfare services and who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness for the period of November 8, 2022 through June 30, 2024; and
b. Authorize the Director or Assistant Director of the Department of Social Services to sign up to three (3) amendments to this agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($80,696) of the contract amount and do not significantly change the scope of work.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this agreement is to establish a Bringing Families Home Program (BFH) in Monterey County. The BFH program will provide rapid rehousing services to Monterey County families who are receiving child welfare services and who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. The core service components of BFH are housing-related case management, housing navigation, housing-related direct financial assistance, and housing stabilization.
