Title: a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a Standard Agreement with Kenneth V. RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a Standard Agreement with Kenneth V. Hardy retroactive to August 1, 2021, for the provision of training and consultation services for a total Agreement not to exceed $159,700 for the term beginning August 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024; and
b. Authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not exceed ten percent (10%) ($15,970) of the original Agreement amount and do not significantly alter the scope of services.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Kenneth V. Hardy, Ph.D. ("Dr. Hardy"), has provided Diversity and Racial Sensitivity training and consultations to an extensive list of Health and Human Services agencies as well as a host of educational institutions. He has extensive experience in the areas of assessing and consulting on the topics of cultural and racial diversity, trauma and oppression. Dr. Hardy provides consultation to behavioral health systems seeking to improve their cultural responsivity, and trauma-informed practices.
