Title: a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to execute a Center for Infectious Diseases General Data Use and Disclosure Agreement with the California Department of Public Health to access state-managed infectious disease data systems, for a term of three years, effective upon execution to three years after the latest signature date, at no cost to the County; b. Approve non-standard risk provisions in Agreement as recommended by the Director of Health Services; and c. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to sign up to three future amendments where the amendments do not significantly change the scope of services and do not change the cost, subject to approval of County Counsel.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the County of Monterey Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to execute a Center for Infectious Diseases General Data Use and Disclosure Agreement with the California Department of Public Health to access state-managed infectious disease data systems, for a term of three years, effective upon execution to three years after the latest signature date, at no cost to the County;
b. Approve non-standard risk provisions in Agreement as recommended by the Director of Health Services; and
c. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to sign up to three future amendments where the amendments do not significantly change the scope of services and do not change the cost, subject to approval of County Counsel.

SUMMARY:
Execution of the Center for Infectious Diseases General (CIDG) Data Use and Disclosure Agreement is required for the County of Monterey Health Department to maintain access to critical state public health data systems managed by the California Department of Public Health.
