a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to sign a Professional Services Agreement between the County of Monterey and Central Coast Overdose Prevention (CCODP) for the provision of mobile outreach and treatment services in the amount of $627,609 for FY 2024-25 retroactive to July 15, 2024 to June 30, 2025; and
b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not significantly alter the scope of services and do not exceed 10% ($62,760) of the original Agreement amount, for a not to exceed amount of $690,369.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the County of Monterey Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to sign a Professional Services Agreement between the County of Monterey and Central Coast Overdose Prevention (CCODP) for the provision of mobile outreach and treatment services in the amount of $627,609 for FY 2024-25 retroactive to July 15, 2024 to June 30, 2025; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION
This Professional Services Agreement between the County of Monterey and Central Coast Overdose Prevention is to provide mobile outreach and services to residents with a substance disorders through CCODP’s Substance Use Response Team (SURT). The SURT consists of mobile outreach throughout Monterey County to provide street medicine staffed by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including doctors and peer support specialists while supporting transition of care with partnerships such as harm reduction partners and local behavioral health resources.
