RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Adopt Plans and Special Provisions for both the Procurement (Delivery and Application) of Asphalt Emulsion and the Pavement Delineation for the Seal Coat FY20, Project No. 5520, consisting of seal coat pavement maintenance on Corral de Tierra (Vista Dorado to Hwy 68), Metz Road (Elm Avenue to State Route 146), and Jolon Road (Nacimiento Lake Drive to Peri Road), approximately 16.6 centerline road miles; and
b. Authorize the Resource Management Agency Director to advertise the "Notice to Bidders" in the Monterey County Weekly.

SUMMARY:
Annually, the Resource Management Agency - Public Works performs seal coat pavement maintenance on County roads. This year's Annual Seal Coat project consists of treating Corral de Tierra (Vista Dorado to Hwy 68), Metz Road (Elm Avenue to State Route 146), and Jolon Road (Nacimiento Lake Drive to Peri Road), approximately 16.6 total centerline miles. Adoption of the Plans and Special Provisions will authorize the Resource Management Agency to proceed with advertising of the Procurement (Delivery and Application) of Asphalt Emulsion and the Pavement Delineation for the Seal Coat FY20, Project No. 5520 (hereafter, "Seal Coat FY20" or "project").
