Title: a. RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to execute a non-standard Professional Agreement with Jennifer Yu, M.D., to provide physical medicine and rehabilitation services to medically fragile children, upon execution to June 30, 2031 with no exchange of funds;
b. Approve non-standard indemnification and insurance provisions as recommended by the Director of Health Services; and
c. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to sign up to three future amendments that do not significantly change the scope and do not add funds to the agreement.

SUMMARY:
The California Children’s Services Medical Therapy Program (MTP) provides physical and occupational therapy to children with qualifying physical disabilities at three clinics in Monterey County, aiming to help each child reach their maximum physical potential. Care is guided by a multidisciplinary team, led by a Medical Therapy Conference (MTC) physician who oversees therapy plans, equipment needs, referrals, and overall medical management.
