Title
Approve and authorize amendments to the Conflict of Interest Code of the Information Technology Department.
 
Report
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve and authorize amendments to the Conflict of Interest Code of the Information Technology Department.
 
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Pursuant to Government Code Section 87306, local agencies are required to amend the Conflict of Interest Code for changes in circumstances, creation or deletion of designated department positions, or by changes in the duty of the existing positions.  Due to changes in staffing for the Information Technology Department, the Department requests the Board to approve the amendment to Conflict Of Interest Code which incorporates changes and additions of positions.  The amendment adds the positions of Information Technology Business Manager, Finance Manager II, and Consultant to the list of designated positions.  
 
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
County Counsel has reviewed and approved the amended Conflict of Interest Code, attached.
 
FINANCING:
There is no fiscal impact upon the County General Fund as a result of this action.
