b. Authorizing the Director of Public Works to execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Replacement Of Bridge On Sandholdt Road Over Moss Landing Slough, State Bridge No. 44C-0108, County Bridge No. 112, Federal-Aid Project No. STPLZ-5944 (034), Project No. 05-220465, performed by Golden State Bridge Inc.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On May 10, 2005, the Board of Supervisors awarded a contract to Golden State Bridge, Inc. for the construction of the Replacement Of Bridge On Sandholdt Road Over Moss Landing Slough, State Bridge No. 44C-0108, County Bridge No. 112, Federal-Aid Project No. STPLZ-5944 (034), Project No. 05-220465 (Project). The Project consisted of a bridge replacement since it was found to be seismically deficient and was scheduled for replacement with a wider two-lane bridge immediately south of the existing bridge, and a five-year Plant Establishment period.
