RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Approve the use of Toro Park, Buckeye Area, on Sunday, September 8, 2013 for a function by Northside Assembly of God in compliance with Monterey County Code 14.12.130.
 
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Northside Assembly of God has reserved the Buckeye area at Toro Park on Sunday, September 8, 2013 to hold worship services.  Pursuant to Monterey County Code 14.12.130, all political rallies, religious services, and any fund raising activities must have prior approval from the Board of Supervisors.
 
The utilization of this event will not interfere with the public use of the park.
 
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The recommended action has been approved by County Counsel.
 
FINANCING:
The standard day use and reservation fees approved by the Board of Supervisors for all groups are in effect for this event.  There will be no effect to budgeted General Fund Contribution due to this action.
