RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve the Bingo Permit Application for San Antonio Community Betterment Association pursuant to Chapter 7.08 of the Monterey County Code.
SUMMARY:
On July 14, 2014 the San Antonio Community Betterment Association submitted a Bingo Permit application to the Clerk of the Board with the requisite $50.00 application fee. The Clerk of the Board transmitted a copy of the application to the Sheriff's office for a ten-day review period. Pursuant to Chapter 7.08 of the Monterey County Code, the Board of Supervisors is the responsible body for issuing licenses.
Upon approval by the Board of Supervisors, the Clerk of the Board will issue the applicant the Bingo License effective August 29, 2014 through August 28, 2015, a draft of which is attached to this board report.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The Sheriff's office has reviewed the application and has no objection to the issuance of the bingo license.
FINANCING:
Approval of this recommendation will have no impact on General Fund Contribution.
