a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a multi-year Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services Agreement with Community Human Services for the provision of alcohol and drug recovery services in the amount of $4,146,908 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22 and $4,146,908 for FY 2022-23 for a total Agreement amount not to exceed $8,293,816 for the term of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023; and
b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not exceed ten percent (10%) ($829,382) of the original Agreement amount and do not significantly alter the scope of services.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a multi-year Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services Agreement with Community Human Services for the provision of alcohol and drug recovery services in the amount of $4,146,908 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22 and $4,146,908 for FY 2022-23 for a total Agreement amount not to exceed $8,293,816 for the term of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The County currently has a multi-year Agreement A-14018 which will expire on June 30, 2021. As part of the Monterey County Health Department, Behavioral Health Bureau's Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) Waiver Implementation Plan, CHS will provide the following services: Residential, Outpatient group and individual therapy for adults including case management and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
