Title
Approve and authorize the Monterey County Laguna Seca Representative to:
a. Execute a Standard Agreement between American Medical Response and the County of Monterey for standby ambulance medical services for race events and track rentals for WeatherTech(r) Raceway at Laguna Seca with a term beginning May 1, 2023, through December 31, 2024, for an amount not to exceed of $900,000;
b. Execute up to three (3) future amendments to the Standard Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10%, or $90,000 of the agreement amount and do not significantly change the scope of work, subject to County Counsel approval. Whereas the total aggregate amount of this agreement will not exceed $1,170,000.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve and authorize the Monterey County Laguna Seca Representative to:
a. Execute a Standard Agreement between American Medical Response and the County of Monterey for standby ambulance medical services for race events and track rentals for WeatherTech(r) Raceway at Laguna Seca with a term beginning May 1, 2023, through December 31, 2024, for an amount not to exceed of $900,000.

Execute up to three (3) future amendments to the Standard Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed ten percent (10%), or $90,000, of the agreement amount and do not significantly change the scope of work, subject to County Counsel approval. Whereas the total aggregate amount of this agreement will not exceed $1,170,000.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
American Medical Response (AMR) is the County of Monterey's authorized ambulance service provider and has been providing unique and comprehensive services required for racetrack rentals and events to Laguna Seca Recreational Area. AMR's services include but are not limited to
advanced life support ambulance medical standby and crew(s), who provide first aid, emergency care, and, when necessary, medical transportation within the scope of their licensure.
