RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors consider approving and authorizing the Contracts/Purchasing Officer to execute a Renewal and Amendment No. 2 to Agreement with Contractor, OpenGov, Inc., retroactive to July 1, 2016, due to the expiration of the agreement on June 30, 2016, for the continued provision of financial data services, extending the agreement to June 30, 2017, and adding the amount of $25,000 for a total Agreement amount not to exceed $75,000.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The County engaged the services of OpenGov, Inc. on July 1, 2014. OpenGov's Transparency package includes the necessary software to publish the County's budget data online. The County Administrative Office believes OpenGov to be a valuable asset to its day to day operations and desires to continue their services. The current Agreement to provide the software to the County expired on June 30, 2016 due to a delay in obtaining the renewal documentation from the vendor. The County Administrative Office is requesting to renew and amend the Agreement to extend the term to cover ongoing system maintenance and professional services through June 30, 2017, and add the sum of $25,000 for fiscal year 2017, for a total contract amount not to exceed $75,000.

OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
County Counsel reviewed and approved this Renewal and Amendment as to legal form. A copy of the Agreement and Amendments are on file with the Clerk of the Board.
