a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Fair Share Agreement Memorandum of Understanding A-17590 between the County of Monterey and ReGen Monterey, also known as the Monterey Regional Waste Management District to add FY 2026-2027 activities and share of costs, for the same term effective on the last day of its execution by a Party and until terminated by the Parties; and
b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to approve each annual fiscal year renewal where the total County of Monterey contribution does not exceed a 10% year-over-year increase and does not significantly change the scope of work.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the County of Monterey Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Fair Share Agreement Memorandum of Understanding A-17590 between the County of Monterey and ReGen Monterey, also known as the Monterey Regional Waste Management District to add Fiscal Year 2026-2027 activities and share of costs, for the same term effective on the last day of its execution by a Party and until terminated by the Parties; and
b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to approve each annual fiscal year renewal where the total County of Monterey contribution does not exceed a 10% year-over-year increase and does not significantly change the scope of work.
SUMMARY:
