a. Approve and authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services or designee to sign Amendment No.1 to Agreement #5010-523 FY 2025-26 with Housing Resource Center of Monterey County to provide Housing and Family Stabilization Support Program services adding $550,000 for a new contract total of $2,900,000 with no change to the contract term of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; and
b. Authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services or designee to sign up to three amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($290,000) of the amended contract amount, do not significantly change the scope of work, and do not exceed the maximum aggregate amount of $3,190,000.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services or designee to sign Amendment No.1 to Agreement #5010-523 FY 2025-26 with Housing Resource Center of Monterey County to provide Housing and Family Stabilization Support Program services adding $550,000 for a new contract total of $2,900,000 with no change to the contract term of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; and

SUMMARY
This agreement supports continued housing stabilization services for CalWORKs customers referred by the County of Monterey, Department of Social Services through the Housing Support and Family Stabilization Programs. The agreement provides housing case management, housing search and placement assistance, rental subsidies, and related supportive services to eligible families.
