a. Approve and authorize the Monterey County Laguna Seca Representative to execute a retroactive Standard Agreement between A & B Fire Protection & Safety, Inc. and the County of Monterey to provide Fire Protection System Inspections and Repairs for WeatherTech(r) Raceway at Laguna Seca, with a term beginning May 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023, for an amount not to exceed $40,000; and
b. Approve and authorize the Monterey County Laguna Seca Representative to execute up to three (3) future amendments to the Standard Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed ten percent (10%), or $4,000, of the agreement amount and do not significantly change the scope of work, subject to County Counsel approval.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Monterey County Laguna Seca Representative to execute a retroactive Standard Agreement between A & B Fire Protection & Safety, Inc. and the County of Monterey to provide Fire Protection System Inspections and Repairs for WeatherTech(r) Raceway at Laguna Seca, with a term beginning May 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023, for an amount not to exceed $40,000; and

A & B Fire Protection & Safety, Inc. (A & B Fire) is a local company that provides fire extinguisher sales and service, fire sprinkler and pre-engineered fire suppression systems, fire alarm systems and other first aid and personal safety equipment in Northern California.
