b. Authorize the Resource Management Agency (RMA) Director to advertise for bids in the Monterey County Weekly.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Adopt the Monterey County 2020 Construction Task Catalogs, Job Order Contracting (JOC) 2020 - Roads & Bridges Project Specifications and JOC 2020 - Facilities Project Specifications, and Monterey County 2020 Technical Specifications for JOC 2020, Project No. JOC 2020, Bid No. Roads & Bridges 2020-01, Bid No. Roads & Bridges 2020-02, and Bid No. Roads & Bridges 2020-03, and Project No. JOC 2020, Bid No. Facilities 2020-01, Bid No. Facilities 2020-02, and Bid No. Facilities 2020-03; and
b. Authorize the Resource Management Agency (RMA) Director to advertise for bids in the Monterey County Weekly.
SUMMARY:
Recommended actions include the adoption of the 2020 Monterey County Job Order Contracting (JOC) Task Catalogs for the JOC 2020 contracts (2020 JOC Program), and advertising for bids (2020 JOC Program). Considering the many capital projects slated for Fiscal Years (FYs) 2020-21 and 2021-22, it is recommended that three (3) Roads & Bridges and three (3) Facilities Job Order Contracts be issued each for $5,098,418 with $25,000 worth of work guaranteed in each contract.
