RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer to execute an Agreement with ReadyTalk for the purpose of hosting webinars, for the period of July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016 in the amount of $1,032.65; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Monterey County Health Department (MCHD) Striving to Reduce Youth Violence Everywhere (STRYVE) Program is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to prevent youth violence in Salinas. The goal of STRYVE is to increase the capacity of the MCHD and the violence reduction coalition to prevent youth violence. As a result of this capacity building mandate, we have used a portion of the funding to provide live and web-based training.
