a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to execute a non-standard Agreement with the County of Santa Barbara to provide water testing and laboratory analysis upon execution through June 30, 2024, for a total agreement amount of $5,000; and
b. Approve non-standard provisions in the Agreement as recommended by the Director of Health Services or designee; and
c. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to sign up to three future amendments where the amendments do not exceed 10% ($500) of the original contract amount and does not significantly change the scope of work, with a total not to exceed a maximum of $5,500.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the County of Monterey Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to execute a non-standard Agreement with the County of Santa Barbara to provide water testing and laboratory analysis upon execution through June 30, 2024, for a total agreement amount of $5,000; and
b. Approve non-standard provisions in the Agreement as recommended by the Director of Health Services or designee; and

SUMMARY DISCUSSION:
The County of Monterey Health Department, Public Health Bureau, Consolidated Environmental Laboratory requests approval of an Agreement with the County of Santa Barbara to provide fee-based E. coli, coliform, and Legionella testing services.
