Before the Board of Supervisors in and for the
County of Monterey, State of California
Agreement No: A-11205
Concur with the Monterey County Workforce Investment Board WIB) funding
recommendations to:
a. Approve the Workforce Investment Act WIA) Title I Youth subcontracts
with Turning Point of Central California and Unity Care Group, Inc., in the
amount of $300,000 with $20,000 set-aside for supportive services for the
period of July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009; and
b. Authorize the Director of the Department of Social and Employment Services,
or his designee, to sign up to three 3) amendments to this Agreement, where
the total amendments do not exceed ten percent 10%), and do not
significantly change the scope of work.
Upon motion of Supervisor Salinas, seconded by Supervisor Armenta, and carried by those
members present, effective July 1, 2008, the Board hereby:
