RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute Amendment No. 6 to Mental Health Services Agreement A-12779 with Door to Hope to extend the term for one (1) additional Fiscal Year (FY) for a new term of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2021 and revise the total Agreement amount from $19,596,591 to $21,896,591 which represents an increase of $2,300,000 for FY 2020-21.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Door to Hope provides mental health rehabilitation services for children, youth, young adults, and their families through the following programs: Integrated Co-Occurring Treatment; Monterey County Screening Team for Assessment, Referral and Treatment; and Santa Lucia. The goal of each program is to improve the child/youth/young adult's mental health, functioning and well-being, and improve their family/caregiver's parenting skills and ability to meet the developmental needs of their children. This Amendment modifies the Exhibits A: Program Description; B:Payment and Billing Provisions; G: Behavioral Health Cost Reimbursement Invoice; and H: Budget and Expenditure Report to reflect the continuation of funding for the above-listed programs through June 30, 2021.

This Agreement contains the County's standard 30-day "no cause" provision (Section IV.B.) and a defunding provision (Section IV.D.), which provides the County the ability to amend or terminate the Agreement in the event of a reduction and/or termination of funding.
