RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve submittal of the County of Monterey Immigration Rights Initiative, Monterey County Young Supervisors Program, Hygiene Hubs, and Business Programs and Incentives Guide application entries to the 2025 California State Association of Counties (CSAC) Challenge Awards competition.

SUMMARY:
Each year the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) invites counties to submit nominations for the CSAC Challenge Awards. These unique awards recognize the innovative and creative spirit of California county governments for finding new and effective ways of providing projects, programs, and services to their citizens.

DISCUSSION:
Information on the 2025 CSAC Challenge Awards competition was provided to the Board and all County Departments. The County Administrative Office received four (4) applications which are presented in this report for review and approval by the Board for submission to CSAC.

1.
