Before the Board of Supervisors in and for the
County of Monterey, State of California
Agreement No: A 11805; A 11806
a. Approve the extension of the Workforce Investment Act WIA) Title I
Youth subcontracts with Turning Point of Central California and Unity
Care Group, Inc. in the amount of $363,000 for the period of July 1, 2010
through June 30, 2011; and
b. Authorize the Director of the Department of Social & Employment
Services, or his designee, to sign up to three 3) amendments to this
agreement, where the total amendments do not exceed ten percent 10%),
and do not significantly change the scope of work.
Upon motion of Supervisor Potter, seconded by Supervisor Armenta, and carried by those
members present, the Board hereby:
a. Approved the extension of the Workforce Investment Act WIA) Title I Youth subcontracts
with Turning Point of Central California A-11805) and Unity Care Group, Inc. A-11806) in
the amount of $363,000 for the period of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011; and
b. Authorized the Director of the Department of Social & Employment Services, or his
designee, to sign up to three 3) amendments to this agreement, where the total amendments
do not exceed ten percent 10%), and do not significantly change the scope of work.
