a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to sign three-year Mental Health Services Agreement with Crisis Support Services of Alameda County for suicide prevention and intervention services (for a term of July 1, 2017 through June 20, 2020) in the amount of $70,753 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-18, $72,876 for FY 2018-19, and $75,062 for FY 2019-20, for a total Agreement in the amount of $218,691; and
b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not exceed ten percent (10%) ($21,869) of the original Agreement amount and do not significantly alter the scope of services.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to sign three-year Mental Health Services Agreement with Crisis Support Services of Alameda County for suicide prevention and intervention services (for a term of July 1, 2017 through June 20, 2020) in the amount of $70,753 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-18, $72,876 for FY 2018-19, and $75,062 for FY 2019-20, for a total Agreement in the amount of $218,691; and

Monterey County Health Department Behavioral Health Bureau (BHB) is mandated to maintain a toll-free, 24/7 access telephone to provide linkage to services and support to Monterey County residents seeking mental health and substance use services.
