a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to execute an Amendment to the Investment in Mental Health Wellness Grant Program for Children and Youth ("Children and Youth" Program) Grant Agreement Number CY MONT-02 between the County of Monterey Health Department and the California Health Facilities Financing Authority ("CHFFA"), to extend the term for two (2) additional fiscal years for a new term of February 24, 2022 through June 30, 2026; and
b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not exceed 10% ($185,155) of the original Grant Agreement amount ($1,851,546) and do not significantly change the scope of services, and do not exceed $2,036,701.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to execute an Amendment to the Investment in Mental Health Wellness Grant Program for Children and Youth ("Children and Youth" Program) Grant Agreement Number CY MONT-02 between the County of Monterey Health Department and the California Health Facilities Financing Authority ("CHFFA"), to extend the term for two (2) additional fiscal years for a new term of February 24, 2022 through June 30, 2026; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION
The County of Monterey was awarded the CHFFA Investment in Mental Health Wellness Grant Program for Children and Youth in the amount of $1,851,546.21 to fund the development of a 4-bed Crisis Stabilization (CS) co-located with a 4-bed Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) program for children and youth under 18 years of age suffering from severe mental illness.
