Title
a. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) to execute the Professional Services Agreement with Advanced Gastroenterology of Monterey County to provide gastroenterology services at NMC for an amount not to exceed $900,000 for the period April 1, 2015 to June 30, 2017;
b. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for NMC to sign up to three (3) amendments to the agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% of the original contract amount, and do not significantly change the scope of work; and
c. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for NMC to execute a notice of termination letter for the existing Agreement Advanced Gastroenterology of Monterey County.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) to execute the Professional Services Agreement with Advanced Gastroenterology of Monterey County to provide gastroenterology services at NMC for an amount not to exceed $900,000 for the period April 1, 2015 to June 30, 2017;

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
NMC has an agreement with Advanced Gastroenterology of Monterey County for Mumtaz Tabbaa M.D. to provide gastroenterology call coverage in the emergency department. NMC wishes to enter into this new Agreement with Advanced Gastroenterology of Monterey County prior to the natural term date to add outpatient clinic services to the scope of work and to change the payment arrangements where NMC bills and collects for services.
