County of Monterey, State of California
Resolution No. 10-082
Resolution of Proclamation Honoring Mary Dandridge
upon her selection as one of six Outstanding Women of
Monterey County for 2010
Whereas, Mary E. Dandridge has been selected by the Monterey County Commission on the Status
of Women as one of six Outstanding Women in Monterey County for 2010; and
Whereas, Mary E. Dandridge dedicates her life to helping women and children despite her
health issues, Mary continues to serve others in various capacities.
Whereas, Mary E. Dandridge is a devoted volunteer providing many hours of service at
Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula and the YWCA/Crisis Center.
Whereas, Mary E. Dandridge a graduate of Monterey High School who studied at San Jose
State University, Mary aspired to becoming a Special Education Teacher, reaching her goal.
Whereas, Mary E. Dandridge was a CASA court appointed special advocate for abused
children, as well as a bible class volunteer and Sunshine Band at her church a great role model
for helping children. Mary is certainly an Outstanding Woman of Monterey County.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Monterey County Board of Supervisors and all
citizens therefore hereby congratulate Mary E. Dandridge on her selection as one of six Outstanding
Women in Monterey County for 2010 and wishes her health, happiness, and success in all her future
endeavors.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on this 13th day of April, 2010, upon motion of Supervisor Calcagno, seconded by
Supervisor Potter, by the following vote, to-wit:
