RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:

Consider continuing the public hearing for sixty days to a date certain on June 23, 2015 regarding the renaming of Garrapata Ridge Road, a private road located in the Big Sur area, to Weston Ridge Road.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Resource Management Agency - Public Works (RMA-PW) requests a continuance of this matter until June 23, 2015 from the January 27, 2015 public hearing to allow for additional meetings with affected parties to address community concerns.

The agencies did not anticipate the length of time needed to coordinate schedules and meetings. This sixty day continuance is being requested to provide time to conduct the agency and community meetings.

On April 9, 2015, a Notice of Public Hearing to continue this request was published in the Monterey County Weekly.

RMA-PW has been meeting with the Mid-coast Fire Brigade and 911/County Communications.
