RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) to execute a Notice of Termination Letter for the Professional and Call Coverage Services Agreement with Trauma & Critical Care SFV Group to provide general and critical care surgery services.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
NMC has an agreement with Trauma & Critical Care SFV Group for the period July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015. Under this Agreement, Bradley Roth M.D. provides general and critical care surgery services. NMC is seeking authority to execute the attached letter of early termination in the event the parties determine it is in the parties' mutual interest to terminate the existing agreement before the expiration date provided in the agreement.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
County Counsel has reviewed and approved this Notice of Termination Letter as to legal form and risk provisions.
FINANCING:
There are no fiscal provisions to this Notice of Termination Letter. There is no impact to the General Fund.
