a. Approve and authorize a Maintenance Agreement, for a term of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $234,261 between the Monterey County Treasurer-Tax Collector and Columbia Ultimate, Inc., a Washington State Corporation, DBA RevQ, to provide software license, software maintenance support, and professional services for the Revenue Plus Collector system; and
b. Approve and authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer to extend the Agreement for up to three (3) one year contract extensions with Columbia Ultimate, Inc., a Washington State Corporation, DBA RevQ, at an annual cost not to exceed $84,000.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize a Maintenance Agreement, for a term of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $234,261, between the Monterey County Treasurer-Tax Collector and Columbia Ultimate, Inc., a Washington State Corporation, DBA RevQ, to provide software license, software maintenance support, and professional services for the Revenue Plus Collector system; and
b. Approve and authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer to extend the Agreement for up to three (3) one year contract extensions with Columbia Ultimate, Inc., a Washington State Corporation, DBA RevQ, at an annual cost not to exceed $84,000.
SUMMARY:
On May 20, 2014 the Contracts Purchasing Officer approved a Maintenance Agreement less than $100,000 with Columbia Ultimate, Inc., to provide software maintenance support for the Revenue Plus Collector System, used for collection and tracking of Court ordered debt.
DISCUSSION:
The Treasurer-Tax-Collector now wishes to enter into a multi-year agreement with Columbia Ultimate Inc, for a period of three years, commencing on July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018, with the option to extend said agreement for an additional three one year periods at an annual cost not to exceed $84,000.
