a. Ratify and approve Amendment No. 8 to the Agreement between the County of Monterey and American Medical Response West for the provision of Advanced Life Support Ambulance Services for the County of Monterey to replace Exhibit B (Monterey County Ambulance Rate Table) to said Agreement to correct a typographical error, effective February 1, 2013; and
b. Authorize the Director of Health to execute Amendment No. 8 to the Agreement between the County of Monterey and American Medical Response West for the provision of Advanced Life Support Ambulance Services for the County of Monterey effective February 1, 2013.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Ratify and approve Amendment No. 8 to the Agreement between the County of Monterey and American Medical Response West for the provision of Advanced Life Support Ambulance Services for the County of Monterey to replace Exhibit B Monterey County Ambulance Rate Tables to said Agreement to correct a typographical error, effective February 1, 2013; and
b. Authorize the Director of Health to execute Amendment No. 8 to the Agreement between the County of Monterey and American Medical Response AMR for the provision of Advanced Life Support Ambulance Services for the County of Monterey effective February 1, 2013.
SUMMARY:
The Director of Health seeks authorization to execute Amendment No. 8 to the Agreement between the County of Monterey and American Medical Response West for the provision of Advanced Life Support Ambulance Services for the County of Monterey to replace Exhibit B Monterey County Ambulance Rate Tables to said Agreement in order to reflect the correct rate $62.55 for Pulse Oximetry, as approved by the Board on January 29, 2013.
