a. Approve and Authorize the Director of Health, or Assistant Director of Health to sign a County of Monterey Standard Agreement with Peninsula Business Interiors for new product, delivery and installation services of new furniture for the Laurel Pediatric Clinic expansion, for a total contract amount not to exceed $300,000, for the period of May 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017; and
b. Authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to one (1) future amendment to this Agreement where the amendment does not exceed 10% of the annual amount ($30,000) and do not significantly change the scope of work.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Monterey County Health Department Clinic Services Bureau (Clinic Services) is a safety net provider and the only source of health care for many Monterey County residents. One of Clinic Services primary care clinics, Laurel Pediatric Clinic, located on the campus of Natividad Medical Center (NMC), is seeking to increase its capacity by expanding its operations into the space previously occupied by the Laurel Family Practice Clinic, which relocated to NMC's Building 400.
