RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Receive the 2015 Monterey County Crop Report from the Agricultural Commissioner.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Agricultural Commissioner produces an annual Crop Report pursuant to Section 2279 of the California Food and Agriculture Code. The Crop Report states the condition, acreage, production, and value of the agricultural commodities produced in the County.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
None.
FINANCING:
Costs associated with the production of this report are included in the 2015-2016 budget. There is no financial impact to the General Fund.
