RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Correct an error in Board Order A-15-281 dated July 28, 2015, which approved an Agreement with the Transportation Agency of Monterey County, for the Via Salinas Valley: Pathways to Health through Active Transportation project, to identify correctly the term of the Agreement as follows: "August 1, 2015 through December 31, 2016, or until the completion of the PROJECT under the terms of the ATP grant award, whichever occurs last."

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On July 28, 2015 the Board of Supervisors considered a board report of the Monterey County Health Department seeking approval of an Agreement with the Transportation Agency of Monterey County for Via Salinas Valley: Pathways to Health through Active Transportation. The board report failed to identify correctly the term of the agreement as agreed to by both parties. Board Order A-15-281 approving the Agreement indicated that the expiration date of the Agreement was December 31, 2016, but consistent with the Agreement itself, should have indicated that the expiration date of the Agreement was "December 31, 2016, or until the completion of the PROJECT under the terms of the ATP grant award, whichever occurs last". (Italics added.)

The Monterey County Health Department requests that Board Order A-15-281 be corrected to identify correctly the term of the Agreement to include the words in italics. In all other regards, the Board Order is correct and the Monterey County Health Department requests no other modification. ...
