a. Approve Amendment No. 4 to the Professional Services Agreement with Honeywell International, Inc. (Agreement or PSA) to continue to provide services associated with on-call repair and maintenance services to heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) systems for various County facilities, to increase the not to exceed amount of $100,000 by $180,000 for a total amount not to exceed $280,000 and to extend the expiration date from June 30, 2017 for twenty-eight (28) additional months through October 31, 2019, for a revised term from November 1, 2014 to October 31, 2019; and
b. Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or Contracts/Purchasing Supervisor to execute Amendment No. 4 to the Professional Services Agreement and future amendments to the Agreement where the amendments do not significantly alter the scope of work or change the approved Agreement amount.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve Amendment No. 4 to the Professional Services Agreement with Honeywell International, Inc. (Agreement or PSA) to continue to provide services associated with on-call repair and maintenance services to heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) systems for various County facilities, to increase the not to exceed amount of $100,000 by $180,000 for a total amount not to exceed $280,000 and to extend the expiration date from June 30, 2017 for twenty-eight (28) additional months through October 31, 2019, for a revised term from November 1, 2014 to October 31, 2019; and
b. Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or Contracts/Purchasing Supervisor to execute Amendment No. 4 to the Professional Services Agreement and future amendments to the Agreement where the amendments do not significantly alter the scope of work or change the approved Agreement amount.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The County of Monterey, Resource Management Agency (RMA) has identified a continued need for Honeywell International, Inc. to provide on-call repair and maintenance services to heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) systems for various County facilities. Amendment No. 4 to the Professional Services Agreement (Agreement or PSA) will increase the not to exceed amount of $100,000 by $180,000 for a total amount not to exceed $280,000 and extend the expiration date of the PSA from June 30, 2017 for twenty-eight (28) additional months through October 31, 2019, for a revised term from November 1, 2014 to October 31, 2019.
Honeywell International, Inc. was selected as a County of Monterey sole source supplier for their expertise and capabilities necessary to provide these services for their Honeywell equipment.
Attachment A provides a summary of the PSA to date.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The Office of the County Counsel, Auditor-Controller’s Office, and Risk Management have reviewed and approved Attachment B - Amendment No. 4 as to form and legality, fiscal provisions, and indemnity and insurance provisions respectively.
FINANCING:
There is no additional impact to the General Fund as a result of this recommendation. Costs associated with Amendment No. 4 to the PSA with Honeywell International, Inc. are$180,000 of which $20,000 is included in the RMA FY 2016-17 Adopted budget. . Potential costs associated with this agreement will be funded within approved FY 2016-17 budget allocations of the individual department authorizing the service. Amounts for the remaining years of the PSA will be included in those budgets, as appropriate.
