RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Approve the agreement to reappoint Charles J. McKee as Monterey County Counsel and authorize the Chair to execute agreement.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Charles J. McKee has served as a County Counsel since August 2000 and as Monterey County Counsel since April 2003. In August and December 2016 the Board evaluated the performance of County Counsel. As a follow-up to those successful evaluation sessions, this agreement to reappoint is submitted for approval.
FINANCING:
Costs associated with this agreement are included within the office budget.
