a. Approve and authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or Contracts/Purchasing Supervisor to sign Amendment No. 3 with Prisoner Transport Services of America, LLC, for prisoner extradition services for the Sheriff's Office, adding $52,000 to the agreement for a total contract cost of $151,00.00, for the period of July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2019; and
b. Approve and authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or Contracts/Purchasing Supervisor to approve one (1) additional amendment to the contract, provided that the amendment does not significantly change the scope of services and does not exceed ten percent (10%) ($2,000.00) of the original approved contract amount for a total not to exceed contract amount of $153,000.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or Contracts/Purchasing Supervisor to sign Amendment #3 with Prisoner Transport Services of America, LLC, for prisoner extradition services for the Sheriff's Office, adding $52,000 to the agreement for a total contract cost of $151,00.00, for the period of July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2019; and

SUMMARY:
