RECOMMENDATION:

The Jensen project (PLN170598) is scheduled for Zoning Administrator hearing on March 8, 2018. The Resource Management Agency recently received complaints regarding unpermitted grading that has occurred on the site. Preliminary investigations indicate that a violation exists on the property and Code Enforcement Case 18CE0058 has been opened. Pursuant to Monterey County Code Section 21.84.120 (Refusal to issue permits, licenses or other entitlements) no entitlements should be issued while there is an outstanding violation on the subject property. Additional information is needed to determine the correct course of action to correct the violation.

 

Staff recommends that the Zoning Administrator continue this item to a date uncertain to allow the violation to be corrected.
