a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a one-year Mental Health Services Agreement with Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. for the provision of mental health services for adults with severe psychiatric disabilities, for a maximum County obligation of $1,394,740 for the term of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019; and
b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not exceed ten percent (10%) ($139,474) of the original Agreement amount and do not significantly alter the scope of services.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a one-year Mental Health Services Agreement with Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. for the provision of mental health services for adults with severe psychiatric disabilities, for a maximum County obligation of $1,394,740 for the term of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. has provided mental health services for approximately 14 years, and for 30 years prior under the previous corporate umbrella of Crestwood Hospitals. Crestwood has 18 California facilities ranging in size from 12 to nearly 200 beds, five of which are covered under the terms of this Contract. Crestwood's programs provide recovery oriented psychiatric services to adults, older adults, and transition-aged youth with severe and persistent mental health illnesses.
