RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Supervisors:
Approve an Agreement with Management Partners in the amount of $97,300 for the online survey and first phase of a comprehensive Strategic Planning process for the Monterey County Water Resources Agency.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On February 20, 2018, the Board of Directors approved an agreement with Management Partners in the amount of $94,900 for a comprehensive strategic planning process for the Monterey County Water Resources Agency (WRA) to be included in the FY 2018-19. WRA staff was also directed to utilize a portion of the agreement to conduct an employee assessment and online survey in FY 2017-18.
The employee assessment and online survey proposal letter was executed and began moving forward on March 5, 2018. This agreement is being brought back to the Board of Supervisors to include the increased contract amount of $2,400 for a total of $97,300.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
There was no other Agency involvement in the preparation of this report.
FINANCING:
The Agency will budget the cost of this agreement in the amount of $6,800 in the FY 2017-18 Budget and $90,500 in the FY 2018-19 Budget.
