a. Approve and Authorize the Sheriff or the Undersheriff to execute a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) containing non-standard language provisions, with the Monterey County Office of Education for community instructional services for inmates at the Monterey County Adult Correctional Facility in the amount of $10,000, covering services from date of signing by both parties to June 30, 2019; and
b. Authorize the Sheriff or the Undersheriff to approve up to three (3) future amendments to the Agreement where the amendment does not significantly change the scope of work, and all amendments together do not add more than ten (10) percent ($1,000) for a total contract value of $11,000.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and Authorize the Sheriff or the Undersheriff to execute a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) containing non-standard language provisions, with the Monterey County Office of Education for community instructional services for inmates at the Monterey County Adult Correctional Facility in the amount of $10,000.00, covering services from date of signing by both parties to June 30, 2019; and
b. Authorize the Sheriff or the Undersheriff to approve up to three (3) future amendments to the Agreement where the amendment does not significantly change the scope of work, and all amendments together do not add more than ten (10) percent ($1,000.00) for a total contract value of $11,000.00.
