Report

RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the Parks Commissions:

Receive a report on the process for the formation and selection of the new Toro Park Trails Task Force.

SUMMARY:

At the April 5, 2018 Parks Commission approved the Resource Management Agency’s (RMA) recommendation to re-establish the Toro Park trails working group as a task force to address ongoing trail issues at Toro Park, including representatives from Big Sur Land Trust and the Office of Supervisor Mary Adams, District 5.  On June 19, 2018, the RMA selected seven (7) community members to serve on the task force, including a local biologist and an ecologist.
