RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Directors:
Authorize the General Manager of the Monterey County Water Resources Agency to execute agreements up to $90,000 without Board of Directors approval.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Approval of this action allows the General Manager to initiate and execute small agreements of $90,000 or less without Board of Directors approval. This action increases the current limit of $25,000 and provides an official Board Order, as requested by the County’s Purchasing Department. All such executed agreements, as a minimum, will be included in the monthly Purchase Order Report.
By way of comparison, the General Manager of Monterey One Water has approval authority of up to $75,000 without Board approval.
