o Directed staff to schedule a meeting with Bill Lyons, Agriculture Liaison to the Governor;
o Received public comment from Bill Lipe opposing the budget request;
o Received public comment from John Bailey, WRA, in support of the budget request.

o Received public comment from Bill Lipe in support of SB 200 and the Budget Item related to Safe and Affordable Drinking Water
- Took a “support” position on the County Public Administrator, Public Guardian, Public Conservator Programs request for ongoing State funding augmentations;
- Took a “support” position on ACA 1 (Aguiar-Curry) Local government financing: affordable housing and public infrastructure: voter approval.;

o Directed that: 1) a letter be sent to Senator Allen with Monterey County’s requests for additional categories of funding; 2) the County’s letter be shared with the Resilience Coalition; and 3) the County participate with Santa Cruz County in efforts to obtain a funding category for the Pajaro River Flood Control Project in the bill.
