RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Planning Commission continue the public hearing for the Public workshop to discuss Land Use Policies for the Moss Landing Community Plan update to July 10th, 2019.

SUMMARY:
On May 29, 2019, staff facilitated the fifth Planning Commission (PC) Workshop for the MLCP Update to discuss the topic of Land Use. On May 30th, 2019, a notice was distributed for a sixth PC workshop on June 12, 2019. That workshop would continue the discussion on Land Use Policies.
During the May 29th, 2019 PC Workshop, the Planning Commission requested staff to provide more background information as necessary for the Planning Commission to provide sufficient input and/or direction on the proposed MLCP policies. Staff is therefore recommending the hearing be continued to July 10th, 2019, to allow staff additional time to provide the information requested by the Planning Commission.
