SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Monterey County Water Resources Agency (MCWRA) and Joseph E. Botts (Botts) are parties to a Lease/Agreement entitled San Antonio Grazing Lease 2 (Lease). The lease allows certain portions of real property to be subleased for public use should MCWRA and Botts agree in writing. In the past, the County of Monterey Resource Management Agency (RMA) has subleased the po1tion known as the " Long Trail" from Botts for events such as the Monterey County Equestrian Members Only Campout and Lightning in a Bottle. When this has occurred, each event has required its own Amendment to the San Antonio Grazing Lease 2.

This Amendment No. 4 will add RMA as a party and co-lessee to the Lease solely for the purpose of and only with respect to the rights and covenants established by this Amendment, permitting access to the Long Trail and to eliminate the need for an amendment for every upcoming event.

OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
RMA is in agreement with this action.

FINANCING:
No financial impact.
