a. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute the Professional Services Agreement with the Regents of the University of California, on behalf of the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine, Department of Medicine (UCSF) to provide family medicine and pediatric hospitalist services for the period July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 for an amount not to exceed $465,000; and
b. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for NMC or his designee to sign up to three (3) future amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not significantly change the scope of work and do not exceed ten percent 10% ($46,500) of the original contract amount.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute the Professional Services Agreement with the Regents of the University of California, on behalf of the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine, Department of Medicine (UCSF) to provide family medicine and pediatric hospitalist services for the period July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 for an amount not to exceed $465,000; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
NMC must arrange for the care and treatment of its pediatric population and adult patients admitted to the hospital in the family medicine service as well supervision of Residents in the Family Practice Residency Program.
