a. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute the Professional Services Agreement with Salinas Valley Radiologists, Inc. (SVR) to provide radiologist services for an amount not to exceed $800,000 for the period July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020; and
b. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for NMC or his designee to sign up to three (3) future amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not significantly change the scope of work and do not exceed ten percent 10% ($80,000) of the original contract amount.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute the Professional Services Agreement with Salinas Valley Radiologists, Inc. (SVR) to provide radiologist services for an amount not to exceed $800,000 for the period July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020; and
b. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for NMC or his designee to sign up to three (3) future amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not significantly change the scope of work and do not exceed ten percent 10% ($80,000) of the original contract amount.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
NMC would like to enter into an agreement with Salinas Valley Radiologists Inc., for which board certified radiologists provide exclusive radiology services at NMC 24/7/365. Radiology services include inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging services, mammography and interventional radiology services, according to the American College of Surgeons for Level II Trauma Centers, as well as a radiology physician to provide general direction and oversight of the Radiology Department. NMC has obtained an independent opinion of fair market value supporting the payment terms of this Agreement.
